Our tip for a successful group excursion in winter.

1. WORLD RECORD - RIDE ON THE FUNICULAR

The adventure really begins with the world record ride. The steepest funicular in the world takes you from Schwyz up to the idyllic mountain village of Stoos in just a few minutes.

2. FRONALPSTOCK - RIDE ON THE CHAIRLIFT

After a short walk through the mountain village, you can take the two chairlifts from Stoos up to the Fronalpstock summit in around 20 minutes.

3. COFFEE & CROISSANTS FRONALPSTOCK HOTEL | RESTAURANT

Once at the top, you will be served coffee and croissants in the Fronalpstock Hotel | Restaurant with a fantastic view.

4. 360° VIEW WITH PANORAMIC PATH

Enjoy the impressive and beautiful 360° panorama over ten lakes and numerous Alpine peaks or the vast sea of fog. On the Fronalpstock summit, the panoramic trail is a great way to really enjoy the view on a half-hour walk.

5. LUNCH MOUNTAIN VILLAGE STOOS

After the chairlift ride back to the mountain village of Stoos, you will be spoilt with culinary delights in one of our many restaurants. Enjoy a 3-course menu and a cosy get-together in an idyllic mountain village atmosphere.

6. BUILD A SNOW BAR

Strengthened, you now take on a team challenge. Building a snow bar is not only a creative winter activity, but also creates a cosy get-together with the team afterwards.

7. APÉRO IN THE STOOS SHOP

At the end of your group experience, round off the day in the Stoos Shop right next to the Schwyz-Stoos funicular railway mountain station with a cozy aperitif. Afterwards, take the funicular back down to the valley. Alternatively, it is also possible to enjoy an aperitif in the Regio Shop at the valley station of the funicular.
