For early risers

Do you get up easily and enjoy the peace and quiet early in the morning each? On the mountain this is even more impressive!

The early bird catches the worm: Ride the world's steepest funicular up the mountain in the dark, continue to the summit and enjoy the sunrise there.

Every Friday in August and September the funicular Schwyz-Stoos and the chairlifts at Fronalpstock run earlier. You arrive at the summit Fronalpstock just in time for sunrise and enjoy the freshness at 1,922 meters above sea level.

During or after sunrise we continue towards Klingenstock - one of the most beautiful ridge walks is waiting for us. 360 degree panorama all the way.

To the ridge hiking trail

After the sunny experience / the hike, one likes to treat oneself to a fine morning meal in the pure mountain air - either in the Fronalpstock Hotel | Restaurant or in a restaurant in the mountain village. Reservations directly at the restaurant are recommended.
