For view lovers: With or without a mountain railroad, breathtaking views can be found on Stoos.

Already from the funicular Schwyz-Stoos or cable car Morschach-Stoos you can enjoy a wonderful view over the valley basin or the Mythen, the landmark of Schwyz.

A 15-minute walk takes you to the next vantage point, the Stooshorn. From there you can see the entire Schwyz valley basin and many mountain peaks.

Also near the mountain village, on a small hill, you will find the next place. From the mountain hotel Stoos Hüttä you look directly at the Mythen, see the steepest funicular and watch the hustle and bustle in the Stöösler village.

If you want to go further up, take the chairlift. One of the most beautiful viewpoints can be found on the Fronalpstock summit! A view of over 10 lakes and countless mountain peaks. Simply incredible!

On the other side of the mountain, the view also makes eyes sparkle. On the Klingenstock summit at 1,935 m above sea level you can see to Riemenstalden, the Mythen, the valley basin and the mountain village.

If you are a good hiker, you will discover the viewpoint Chänzeli on the blue-white hiking trail «Chälenweg». This is located on the Fronalpstock.
