The varied journey begins in Beckenried with the 40-minute steamship trip on Lake Lucerne to Brunnen (a steamship usually operates). This is followed by the transfer journey overland by coach or public transport to the Stoos cable car valley station, which takes around 20 minutes. This is followed by an impressive 7-minute ride on the world's steepest funicular to the mountain village of Stoos. After a 15-minute walk, the chairlift takes you up to the Fronalpstock in two sections. Afterwards, a delicious 3-course meal awaits you in a restaurant.
