BATHTUB RACE STOOS

Description
The Bathtub Race Stoos will take place on Saturday, 24 January 2026.
The legendary bathtub race on the Stoos is returning this winter. This unique sporting event has previously gained international attention with quirky images, appearing in media from Germany to the UK, China, and even India.
Teams of at least three members race down the specially designed track in bathtubs provided for the event, all the way to Gasthaus Balmberg. DJ Mosi will provide lively music at the Mosi Bar, while the Stoos Fire Department will host a cozy coffee lounge at their fire station right along the racecourse.
The fastest team and the three best-costumed bathtub pilots will be rewarded with great prizes. Each team will complete at least two runs. The top teams will advance to the final (third run).
Children are also allowed to ride if accompanied by an adult (only recommended from the age of 10).
Program:
09:00 - 10:30 am: Start number distribution at Schlattli
From 10:00 am: Mosi Bar opens
11:30 am: Start of the first run
2:00 pm: Start of the second run
4:00 pm: Final
Around 5:00 pm: Award ceremony
